Family Nature Club: Birds!

Join us as we explore the great outdoors via your screen and outdoor exploration to learn all about birds. We’ll be in the good hands of Club Director Paul as he leads us through the topic of the day, hands-on activities, original videos, and plenty of nature fun.

Club Director Paul has worked in the museum field for the past 30 years including:  The Philadelphia Zoo, Adventure Aquarium, The Absecon Lighthouse, and The Franklin Institute. One of his goals is to create story-driven, interactive programs for the entire family.  Recommended for ages K - 5th grade

Family Nature Club: Birds! will run for three weeks with a virtual meeting on Saturdays at 9am - 6/27, 7/11, & 7/18. Each week will kick off with a live video call and you will receive additional videos and activities throughout the week. (Due to the holiday, we will pause for the week of July 6th to July 10th)

Family Nature Club: Aquaponics

Have you ever wanted to start your own aquaponics system in your home? Want to learn all about growing food with fish? Join our Aquaponics club!!

Participants will receive a complete classroom sized aquaponics system, including lights, 20 gallon tank, fish, plants, and decor. You will also receive step-by-step set up instructions and access to our Aquaponics Specialist, Mike for 3 weeks of learning and fun around aquaponics. Recommended for ages 5th grade - adult

Family Nature Club: Aquaponics will run for three weeks with a virtual meeting on Mondays at 7pm - 7/13, 7/20, & 7/27. Each week will offer a live group video call. You will receive instructions on how to set up your system, and one on one consultation with Mike.

Registration is $800 per household and includes your own system. REGISTER HERE! (Hurry, there are only 9 spots available!) We will contact you to arrange a system pick up time at Riverbend.
