Danielle joined Riverbend in September 2019. Danielle's previous professional experiences include working as a Project Scientist for an environmental engineering firm that performed remediation at hazardous waste sites and an account manager at a startup focused on residential sustainability in the Boston area. After spending a few years as a stay-at-home parent, Danielle re-entered the workforce and was immediately drawn to Riverbend and its mission after her first visit. She is passionate about connecting children and families to nature and providing all students with equal access to quality science education.
As a member of the education team, she leads in-classroom and outdoor lessons, coordinates with school and community partners, and plans education programs and events on the preserve. Danielle graduated from Dartmouth College in 2006 with a BA in Environmental Studies.Â
