G’day! We’re Ron and Leslie, the dynamic duo of Riverbend’s amphibian crew. Hailing from the rainforests of Australia and southern New Guinea, we’ve adapted perfectly to life here—Lounging on leaves, showing off our color-changing skills, and keeping things moist and fabulous. We might look relaxed, but don’t underestimate us—we’re full of personality and surprises!

Our milky white skin coating keeps us hydrated even when the air is dry. Moisture is life!

I (Leslie) have a white throat; I (Ron) have a gray throat with a wrinkly vocal sac that lets me belt out a high-pitched cry if threatened.

Our diet is gourmet: mealworms dusted in calcium, though in the wild we’re all about moths, locusts, and roaches.
