White Tailed Deer can sometimes sneak their way onto our preserve. Riverbend covers 30 acres of forest, but only 10 acres are within our deer fence. When you walk up the hill towards the Snider Barn, you may walk through the front gate that is often closed to keep these deer out. Human visitors are always welcome at Riverbend, but deer have a tendency to chew on our young plants!
