A Philadelphia native, Julia is a graduate of Science Leadership Academy High School and Skidmore College with a degree in Environmental Science. Julia believes that everyone is a scientist and aims to inspire youth and adults to use science skills to address the environmental issues impacting their communities. Since 2018, Julia has worked on the Riverbend education team in variety of roles including educator, program coordinator, camp manager and most recently as our Education Manager. Her experience includes designing and implementing educational programs in many settings, including nature centers and parks, camp and traditional classroom programs.
