Danny is excited to join the Riverbend team as an environmental educator. They graduated from Drexel University with a degree in Environmental Science. Before working at Riverbend, Danny interned at The Academy of Natural Sciences and the Philadelphia Zoo, which sparked his passion for environmental education. Danny believes that the awe and wonder we experience in natural spaces are integral to our emotional and physical well-being and help inspire people to be community scientists and advocates. They love witnessing the scientific process emerging from the curiosity, excitement, and playfulness that nature inspires during Riverbend field trips. In his free time, Danny enjoys hiking, birdwatching, playing instruments, and "junk" journaling.
