Fox29 Moment of the Day: Riverbend Summer Camp Fun!

The 2024 Summer at Riverbend has been an absolute blast! Our campers have definitely made memories that will last a lifetime. Every day was filled with laughter and excitement, from epic nature discoveries in the stream to competitive scavenger hunts. Campers explored the great outdoors, learned about local wildlife, and even got their hands dirty with some fun science experiments. Whether they're building forts in the woods or playing classic campfire games, there's never a dull moment at Riverbend.

One of the highlights of the summer was when FOX 29 News visited our camp to capture the magic of Riverbend. The kids were thrilled to be on TV, and the excitement peaked when News Journalist Richard Curtis showed off his bravery by eating a worm on live television! It was such a fun and unexpected moment that it quickly became the "Moment of the Day" on the news. The kids couldn't stop talking about it, and it added an extra layer of adventure to their camp experience.

From the giggles around the campfire to the cheers of triumph during our team challenges, this summer has indeed been one for the books. We can't wait to see what the rest of the year has in store and to continue creating these unforgettable memories with our community!
