Originally from the Santa Cruz Mountains in northern California, Jess is thrilled to be immersed in forest once more on Riverbend's beautiful preserve here in Pennsylvania. A graduate of Kenyon College's class of 2021, Jess has lived and done educational work in multiple cities including Washington, D.C., Amman, Jordan, and most recently Drexel Hill at Upper Darby High School. An avid backpacker, hiker, and mycology enthusiast, Jess can't wait to bring nature into the classroom and engage students with hands-on learning out in the field.
