Ariana Hughes is a passionate environmental advocate and creative educator. With a Major in Philosophy and a Minor in Creative writing from Oberlin College, complemented by Wilderness Emergency Medical Training, Ariana brings a unique and multifaceted perspective to her role. Her professional experience spans leadership roles, commercial kitchens, and various volunteer efforts, which have refined her communication and problem-solving skills.
Originally from the Boston area, Ariana has always been dedicated to connecting people with nature. From gardening with her neighbors to inviting friends on hikes through the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Her current roles outside of Riverbend include working as an assistant baker at The Bakeshop on 20th and providing attentive care as a nanny. These positions have further developed her teamwork, leadership, and organizational abilities.
In her free time, Ariana enjoys exploring the outdoors, cooking, continuing her creative writing studies, and singing. Her enthusiasm and dedication make her a valuable member of the Riverbend team.
