Katie joined Riverbend in the spring of 2023. She has previously worked in a library, two kennels and also is currently a toddler teacher with the YMCA. Katie graduated high school in 2012 from the Woodlynde School in Strafford, PA. She then went to Eckerd College in St. Petersburg FL where she graduated in 2017. She gained experience with nature organizations since she graduated. Those organizations were the Barn Nature Center in Doylestown and Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown. Katie lives with her three dogs Fred, George and Ginny. All three of them are greyhounds. In her free time Katie likes to ride horses and really enjoys jumping them.
